Title: California Dreaming
Fandom: Exo
Focus: Chanyeol-centric, Chanyeol/D.O
Genre: Romance
Rating: G
Length: Drabble, 200 words
Summary: Chanyeol enjoys his break with Kyungsoo. Sorta.

"Red Velvet, Taemin, Tiffany noona," Chanyeol pauses as he counts them off on his fingers, checking for any signs of a roaming Baekhyun because amiable or not, a break-up was still a break-up, "Taeyeon noona. We should’ve known they would’ve eventually sent us over here for filming too."

"It's practically as much of an SM tradition as someone breaking their leg. Or a lawsuit," Kyungsoo agrees dryly. He wipes at the endless sweat forming at the nape of his neck, but honestly, he deserves it for insisting on his all-black nonsense despite knowing California was very obviously much hotter than Seoul. Chanyeol wonders at his chances of Kyungsoo stripping off his shirt like the rest of them already have, at how long that stubbornness of his can hold out.

Besides Kyungsoo’s lack of cooperation though, Chanyeol can’t really complain. The MV shoot’s been more of a vacation than a job this time around, especially after they had gotten the dance scenes out of the way. If he closes his eyes, he can pretend he’s on a real break, not just from filming. That Kyungsoo’s sitting beside him on the California coast because he wants to, not because he’s on standby.

Prompt:
Green truck with legs dangling from the truckbed and a California license plate.
Author's Note: Written for Round 2 of EM's EX'ACT Drabble Competition. Does this actually have anything to do with the song California Dreamin'? Nope. Haha. The title just got stuck in my head since this is set in Cali, and Chanyeol is. Daydreaming, I guess haha. Written based off of the fact that the truck in the prompt picture had a California license plate rather than anything else, but also the interesting trend of SM MVs being filmed in California. A lot of Kpop MVs have actually gone to Cali for filming... I wish they would consider Florida too, our beaches are nicer haha. (Another trend I've always found amusing is the inevitable leg injury in an SM group. Less amusing are the lawsuits, but alas.) This was a cheap grab at Chanyeol/D.O shippers on EM tbh, not that it did me much good. Enough to get Team Suho to Round 3 at least haha.

Title: Fish are Friends
Fandom: Exo
Focus: Chanyeol-centric, slight Chanyeol/D.O
Genre: Fantasy
Rating: G
Length: Drabble, words
Summary: Chanyeol has magic and a fish farm and uses both to have friends.

The garden is quiet when Chanyeol enters it that morning, the wooden gates swinging shut behind him with a lazy wave of his hand. It'd be more disturbing if there had been noises other than the calling of the birds and the buzzing of the insects and the babbling of the brook that fed into his carefully maintained pond. After all, no one was allowed in or out without his permission.

"Minseok hyung," he calls out, looking around for the groundskeeper. Unlike the rest of Chanyeol's attendants who are in charge of taking care of his estate, Minseok works and resides solely in the garden, "it's Chanyeol. I'm bored."

He hears a scoff, but when Chanyeol turns his head to look over, there's a smile on Minseok's face as he makes his way over. "I'm sure you probably have some business back in the main house to settle," he says. There's a hint of disapproval in his voice, a warning that Chanyeol should probably perform his duties properly for once. However, despite their ages, Chanyeol is the master and Minseok is the servant, and all the side-eyeing in the world couldn't change that. Or it shouldn't anyway, because the narrowing of Minseok's sharp eyes makes the guilt in his gut burn a little more than he likes.

"But business is boring. I wanna hang out here instead," Chanyeol whines. Minseok has, unfortunately, long since developed quite a bit of immunity towards his antics though, far better at resisting than most of the people forced to deal with Chanyeol on a daily basis. The look on his face is utterly unimpressed as he stands there, the sole obstacle to the lazy day of Chanyeol's dreams.

Honestly, there's no reason for him to still kick up a fuss about it the way he does every time this happens anyway. The situation's not even really that unusual seeing as Chanyeol spends half of his time lounging in the garden, sunbathing and swimming and sleeping and wasting time in general. Sometimes casting little spells he'd get in trouble for anywhere else because what if something caught on fire, Chanyeol?! or stop levitating the dishware, Chanyeol! No, it doesn't matter that you can fix it!

"C'mon, hyung, please," he continues when Minseok makes no sign of uncrossing his arms and undoing his frown, "just for an hour or two? I need to take care of the fish anyway, I'm sure they miss me."

At the mention of the garden's other inhabitants, Minseok visibly wavers. Chanyeol holds back a sharp-toothed grin and waits.

"Well... I suppose it's about time you spent some time with them," Minseok admits, "Kyungsoo in particular has been getting rather grumpy."

Chanyeol laughs, as loud and obnoxious as he wants. "Kyungsoo's always in a mood with me, but if it's you saying so, then I guess I'll have to do something about it."

Really he'd been thinking of taking out Sehun or Jongin today, but he could easily just do that another day. Tomorrow even. It's been a long time since he's spent time with Kyungsoo anyway, though, he's pretty sure that has more to do with the fish swimming away every time Chanyeol reaches out to stroke his shiny black scales.

"So where is the little guy?" he asks, trailing behind Minseok as they both walk over to the large pond taking up half the space in the garden. He's answered not by his groundskeeper, but by a splash from the water, aimed precisely so that the legs of his pants are speckled with water. "Ah. There he is. That's not nice, Kyungsoo-yah."

A carp smaller than many of the others stares up at him from under the water with large, unblinking eyes. completely unrepentant. It has a certain charm to it, making it hard for Chanyeol to feel even a prickle of irritation.

Chanyeol bends down, hunching over so he's as close to the water as possible. "Hey, ready for some exercise?" Without waiting for an answer, he reaches out so that his hand is hovering over Kyungsoo in the water. After a little bit of finger wiggling and a whole lot of concentration, he and Minseok watch as the fish starts growing in size, his body warping. His fins stretch into long, wide sleeves with delicate fingers peeking out past the hemline, his tail splitting into two clothed legs. His face completely changes shape and color, and by the end of the whole mess, there's a short young man dressed in a glimmering black hanbok standing in the shallow pond water.

"Don't call me little," Kyungsoo grumbles as he makes his way out. By the time he's on dry land, there's not a drop of water on him. "What are you doing here anyway? Don't you have work to do?"

"You and Minseok hyung are way too similar," Chanyeol laughs, standing back up and wrapping an arm around Kyungsoo's narrow shoulders. "By the way, I missed you too."

Kyungsoo elbows him away, turning to look at Minseok with accusing eyes. "You said you wouldn't say anything, hyung."

Minseok holds up both hands in surrender, but he's smiling too. "But you got what you wanted, right?"

There's no need for Chanyeol to wait for an answer, not when he can see Kyungsoo's newly formed ears going red underneath his dark hair. He reaches out for Kyungsoo again, draping himself all over that tiny body, and unsurprisingly, pleasantly, this time Kyungsoo doesn't shove him off.

Author's Note: Originally meant for Round 2 of EIWAU, but because of impatient anons, the mod decided to end the round early and do a sudden death for the six eliminated teams as Round 2.5. Honestly, if that's the way it was gonna be, this wouldn't have been Chanyeol/D.O, but Chanyeol/Sehun instead since it was originally based off of the
Ceci interview from the photoshoot Chanyeol and Sehun did together. In the interview, Sehun said that Chanyeol is basically running a fish farm, which is another way of saying he's basically managing a harem, which is another way of saying he's managing a lot of friends haha.

Title: If I Said I Want Your Body Now, Would You Hold It Against Me?
Fandom: Exo
Focus: Chanyeol-centric, hints of Chanyeol/D.O, D.O/Xiumin, and Chanyeol/Xiumin
Genre: Humor
Rating: PG-13
Length: Drabble, 604 words
Summary: Kyungsoo and his cute little hyung are going to help Chanyeol with his grudge whether they like it or not. Oh My Ghostess!AU. Warning: hint of potential dubcon.

Park Chanyeol had never intended to die, let alone die a virgin with a grudge about said virginity, doomed to wander the streets of Seoul until he either got laid or became an evil spirit. Whichever came first. How he even made it to twenty-two with both his dick and his asshole untouched by anyone other than himself was as much of a mystery as his own death, considering how ridiculously good looking he was.

"Kyungsoo-yah," he whines pitifully, ringing the bells around his neck as loudly as he can, until it drives Kyungsoo insane, "Kyungsoo, please, just help me settle this and then I can move on and then you'll never have to deal with me again."

Kyungsoo shakes his head, his lips set into a stubborn frown. There's leash tightly gripped in the shaman's hand, invisible to everyone else but attached to Chanyeol's bell collar like he's some misbehaving dog. "Absolutely not. You're just going to put another guy into shock if you try to jump him with a borrowed body. You just need to make peace with the fact that you're a virgin and then you can pass on--"

"Kyungsoo, please," Chanyeol whines even louder, "you've been in this shaman business for so long, you have to know where I can find a man of vitality. He'd be able to stand it!"

"Park Chanyeol, I am not helping you get laid!."

Unfortunately for him, Kyungsoo says that a bit too loudly, garnering him strange looks from passerbys watching a small, sad man talk angrily to nothing. His ears turn the slightest bit red, and he starts walking faster back to the shrine, dragging Chanyeol along behind him and completely disregarding the way he yelps.

"I don't even need to fuck anyone!" Chanyeol continues arguing because he really just wants to settle his grudge in the quickest way possible, "Like, blowjob, handjob! I'm okay with any of that!"

Kyungsoo whips his head around to stare at him, his face scrunched up. It’s kinda cute like that, Chanyeol thinks to himself. He knows better than to actually say it out loud though. By now anyway. "You're so--"

"Kyungsoo-yah!"

He doesn't even get to finish, because immediately he turns back around to face a man running in his direction. The red has spread from his ears to his cheeks now, his hand slightly clasped behind his back so that his acquaintance won't notice how tightly he's holding on to seemingly nothing. Chanyeol watches with interest.

"Minseok hyung," Kyungsoo responds, smiling awkwardly, "what are you doing here?"

Minseok grins when he finally reaches them, leaning over to give Kyungsoo a friendly hug. Chanyeol gets a close up look at his face and isn't too displeased. "I was just passing by and I saw you. Just wanted to say hi." Chanyeol leans in so that he and this Minseok figure are eye to eye, examining the roundness of his face and the sharpness of his eyes.

And then Minseok shivers. Chanyeol stares, taking in the signs of sweat and goosebumps starting to form on his skin, and grins.

Supernatural sensitivity.

"Whoa, just had a chill," Minseok laughs, pulling away from Kyungsoo, "for some reason I get that around you a lot, Kyungsoo. Any ghosts hanging around?"

It's now or never, Chanyeol decides. He narrows his eyes and makes the jump, targeting Kyungsoo's body for the first time in the two years they've known each other. There's a brief struggle inside as Kyungsoo figures it out, but Chanyeol's a pro at this.

"Of course not, hyung," Chanyeol answers in Kyungsoo's voice, with a sweet smile.

Prompt: “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view…Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.” - Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird
Author's Note: Written for a Caucus Race for Round 2 of EIWAU. The title was blatantly stolen from a Britney Spears song that I hear at work far too often. It actually has a double meaning if you think about it, hahaha, so it was irresistible. Anyway, this was based off of a drama that had been airing at the time, "
Oh My Ghostess", in which a virgin ghost cohabits a girl's body in an attempt to settle her virginity grudge and pass on. Because I would rather die than do a meaningless plug-and-chug AU, I switched a few elements around lol. Chanyeol is the virgin ghost, D.O is doubling as the possessed and the shaman who is trying to help the ghost pass on before their spirit is corrupted, and Xiumin is the love interest. The gist of things is that a ghost can only interact with someone who is sensitive to the supernatural, which is why anyone else Chanyeol has tried to approach went into shock. But yeah. I had fun writing this lol. Oh, the reason for the dubcon warning is because technically pretending to be someone else in order to get laid is pretty dubious in terms of consent and also body possession probably counts too. Ha.

Haven't done one-sentence challenges in a while. Felt nice. Used this generator.

D.O / Chanyeol - panic

Chanyeol can't help flinching when Kyungsoo reaches over from his seat with a sardonic grin -- maybe he had teased him a little too much this time -- but instead of the sharp smack he'd been expecting, Chanyeol feels Kyungsoo's arms wrapped uncomfortably tight around him, his face buried in Kyungsoo's chest at an awkward angle, the breath forced out of his chest at Kyungsoo's sudden display of tenderness.

D.O / Kris - otome boyfriends

Intimidatingly designed Wu Yifan had been programmed with three distinct characteristics: a docile personality, easily won affection if given enough game-bought gifts and flattering words, and -- in the case that neither were being effectively courted by the player character -- the ability to woo and win over Do Kyungsoo, the hardest ranked bachelor in the game.

Suho / Xiumin - cutting your losses

Trainees always leave quietly in contrast to the ruckus made when they're first accepted into SM once they've understood that making the massive investment in training doesn't actually guarantee a debut, but as Minseok watches another slip out of the dorms and into the night with their head hung low, he catches Junmyeon's eye and knows neither of them are ready to give up quite so easily.

Baekhyun / Lu Han - beach houses

As the others wrestle in the sand or wade in the low tide of the Jejudo beach that had been chosen as the location of their summer MV, Baekhyun sneaks into the rented beach house in hopes of claiming the master bedroom, only to find Lu Han already sprawled out on its bed and glaring at anyone who would dare approach his newly claimed territory.

Tao / Tao - teacher's pet

The black cat lounging on the professor's desk grooms himself to perfection for a quarter of the period before finally shifting into the form of the class's missing Transfiguration professor, who smiles all too smugly with a self-satisfied, kittenish grin and his wand twirling between his fingers.

(a/n: Not what you were expecting from teacher's pet, eh? lol)
